Everybody knows it's windy

Tonight's a great evening for the living room. I'm sitting here listening to Beirut and feeling the Santa Ana's coming in through the door that claps shut over and over again. I got a sweet new hunting cap, and the fuzziness make me feel like a bear is constantly warming my ears with great big paws. I'm glad it's Fall.

I think the wind might just throw a tree through the front window, but that's ok by me. I got an awesome Pirates kite a couple weeks ago, but today the wind came too late to go fly it. Maybe it'll stick around.

I'm scrambling for costume ideas with Chris this weekend. We scoured a couple thrift stores for a cheap suit for him, but came up short. We did find a set of margarita glasses, and I scored a B. Lee Band CD, as well as the Presidents of the United States of America debut album, featuring the smash hits "Kitty", "Lump", and "Peaches". Two bucks each is such a sweet deal. And the "POTUSA" album reminds me of being 12 and having all the kids at my table in Mr. Vester's science class think they were getting away with something by saying "POTUSA".

FYI: I was awesome enough to actually have a Presidents of the United States of America t-shirt. That was a really good t-shirt.
